Shifa Project #

Shifa Project provides psychospiritual support for Islamic schools and communities in Australia impacted by the genocide in Gaza. They offer psychospiritual support circles, community events, and a wealth of resources to foster a strong, united community.

In collaboration with Mindwise Health and Well-being, they are offering free Telehealth and in-person psychological counselling. The service aims to assist with processing and dealing with grief and trauma as well as other issues related to mental health.

Islamophobia Register Australia Mental Health Referrals #

The Islamaphobia Register Australia offers a secure and reliable service that allows people from across Australia to report any form of anti-Muslim abuse.2 The Register has also partnered with several health providers who can offer free mental health support.3

To access these services4:

  • You first need to submit an incident report here. Select ‘referral’ for the type of help required.
  • Then, one of their staff members will contact you to verify and assess the incident.
  • From there, they will refer you to mental health services.
